A graduate of Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, she further honed her skills as a dental surgeon at Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital. Dr. Shankar is a life member of the Indian Dental Association and has received multiple awards for her outstanding patient care.
